A CHRISTIAN is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ
✞ BELIEVER: One who trusts, expresses faith, in God’s Word
✞ FOLLOWER: One who learns the truths Jesus taught and acts on them
The Bible declares what Simon Peter confessed:
“You are the Christ (Messiah), the Son of the Living God” (Matthew 16:16)
✞ BIBLE: the inspired Word of God, that “gives wisdom that leads to salvation, and is valuable to teach us about living a redeemed life (2 Timothy 3:15-17)
✞SALVATION: forgiveness through the redemptive grace of God for sin (Ephesians 2:5)
Sin is “falling short of God’s glory,” which results in spiritual death (Romans 3:23)
A merciful God does not give us what we deserve, which is judgment, rather gives us the grace of forgiveness and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ, who came to save us from our sins. (Matthew 18:11)
A Christian believes God, trusts Jesus, and commits to live like Him.
